Et portræt af den grønlandske fotograf Inuuteq Storch (f. 1989, Kalaallit Nunaat/Grønland), en markant og yngre stemme i nutidig fotokunst. Storch udforsker emner som identitet, hverdagsliv og relationer, og hans kunstneriske projekt fokuserer på at fortælle Grønlands og grønlændernes historie med grønlandske øjne. A portrait of Greenlandic photographer Inuuteq Storch (b. 1989, Kalaallit Nunaat/Greenland), a distinctive and emerging voice in contemporary photography. Storch explores themes of identity, everyday life, and relationships, centering his work on telling the story of Greenland and its people through Greenlandic eyes. He challenges traditional Danish narratives and stereotypical perspectives that have historically shaped photographic representations of Greenland, confronting colonial power structures and asserting the right to tell one’s own story.

In his practice, Storch combines his own analog photographs with found images, archival material, and historical photographic sources. His work is characterized by an intuitive snapshot aesthetic, emphasizing sensitivity and personal expression.
