CARLSBERG
As the old venerable brewery, Carlsberg, closed their production in Valby in 2008 and moved it to Fredericia it was after 161 years of brewing tradition at the top of Valby Hill. At the same time 240 brewery workers lost their jobs and Copenhagen lost its last real industrial workplace. JJ Film was present in the brewery the last weeks before closing down and we got close to the brewery workers as well as the management and the history that has laid the groundwork for the brewery’s unique traditions.
