Filmen giver tilskuerne et unikt indblik i hvordan Jesper Just, en af Danmarks mest nytænkende kunstnere, forsøger at forandre og påvirke verden omkring sig, når han skaber det uventede i mødet med kunsten - både lokalt og globalt.

Vi undersøger Justs praksis og vil som den store finale være med på rejsen, når han realiserer sit ventede videoværk, The Garden in the Machine. Et værk, der installeres på facaden af Filmby Aarhus, og som vil have en imponerende længde af 10 år. Med dette kunstværk kan beskuerne glæde sig til at blive inddraget i et deltagende og overraskende kunstrum, der samtidig vil placere dansk videokunst på høj international skala.

The film provides viewers with a unique insight into how Jesper Just, one of Denmark's most innovative artists, attempts to transform and influence the world around him as he creates the unexpected in the encounter with art—both locally and globally.

We explore Just's practice and will, as the grand finale, accompany the journey as he carries out his anticipated video work, "The Garden in the Machine." This work will be installed on the facade of Filmby Aarhus and will have an impressive duration of 10 years. With this artwork, viewers can look forward to being drawn into a participatory and surprising art space that will simultaneously place Danish video art on a high international scale.
