For 200 år siden opdagede fysikeren H.C. Ørsted elektromagnetismen og lagde grundstenene til den moderne produktion af elektricitet, som er kernen i Ørsted. Derfor skifter Dong Energy navn til Ørsted. Som en hyldest til H.C. Ørsted og hans store videnskabelige gennembrud.

WHY ØRSTED?
200 years ago the physician H.C. Ørsted discovered electromagnetism and founded the cornerstone of modern production of electricity, which is the core of Ørsted. That is why Don Energy changes its name to Ørsted. As a celebration of H.C. Ørsted and his great scientific breakthrough.
