I filmen Dronningens Danmark tager H.M. Dronning Margrethe II os med på en rejse gennem Danmark både til lands, til vands og i luften, hvor vi bliver ført rundt til de steder, som har haft betydning for dannelsen af hendes danmarksbillede.
