The musician Niels Lan Doky draws attention to himself on the international music scene with his new and different approach to modern jazz. His music is a colourful combination of Danish lyric poetry and urban rhythmic energy which is characteristic of New York. We draw a picture of the musician, who puts an honour in playing across the limits of the different styles. Furthermore we listen to his thoughts about life.
