Erik Mortensen started his career in the small kitchen back home in the North of Jutland and ended up being one of the world’s leading fashion designers.
In the programme we follow his carrier path from his early childhood and apprenticeship in Copenhagen, the test at Balmain to which he was submitted at the close of his apprenticeship and till he entered the polished floors at the absolute jet set of the fashion industry. We follow his last fashion show in Paris in the fall of 1994. Moreover, we watch him working with costumes at the Royal Theatre and we are invited inside his impressive home in both Paris and the Southern part of France.
