In the film Boberg portraying Rifbjerg we watch how the portrait of Klaus Rifbjerg by painter Jørgen Boberg comes into existence. We watch the first meeting of the two artists, the creation of the painting from the first sketch to the completion in Jørgen Boberg’s house in Italy. The film is made in cooperation with the Portrait Collection from the Frederiksborg Museum in Hillerød, where the finished painting is to be found today.
