The ceramist Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye was born in Istanbul in 1938 and for a long period of time she lived in Denmark. We have visited her on her present address in Paris from where she produces her beautiful and characteristic ceramic bowls. We watch closely as she in a sophisticated manner designs and shapes her products, and we learn why she has had such great influence as to shape and colour.
