Denmark in Berlin is a film about the Scandinavian embassy project in Berlin in 1999. During the Second World War the embassies in Berlin were forced to move to Bonn. In connection with the removal back to Berlin, the five Scandinavian countries; Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden decided to establish a common Scandinavian embassy project with national embassies in a common house. JJ Film follows the project. We feel the pulse of the city and follow the modern building in its last phase before the official opening. Among other things we talk to the young Berliner and the ambassadors about the modern Berlin and about the Second World War.
