Queen Anne-Marie

Queen Anne-Marie is the youngest of Queen Margrethe’s sisters. She married her beloved King Konstantin of Greece three weeks before she turned eighteen. She became Queen of Greece, but the rosy picture did not last. Not even two years after her coronation, the Greek military took power and Anne-Marie had to flee Greece in the dark of the night. A truly fascinating portrait, that also reveals why Anne-Marie wasn’t allowed to attend her sister Margrethe’s wedding.
