For a week we follow Alexandra, who travels to Shanghai together with the Confederation of Danish Industries and the Danish Trade Council to place focus on the Danish companies that have chosen to establish productions in China. We are interested in gaining insight into why companies choose to do so and how they have experienced the whole process. Alexandra is greeted in the Danish Consulate General. She talks with both ambassadors, CEOs and local workers, who are employed at the factories.
Parallel to this we will get a retrospect of China's impressive history and not least Shanghai, which is the largest city in China. Shanghai has changed from being a lazy fishing village that could not be found on a map to being one of the most enterprising cities today, where thousands of companies has set up in the hope of gaining a part of the massive growth and development.
