The artist John Olsen lets us become acquainted with a controversal artistic performance. A long-running interest for nature and hunting has given him a special and unique sight for the possibilities in the many organic forms of nature. Especially, he finds inspiration in the twilight, in the carcass and in the organs from dead animals and these sources are transformed into subjective works within visual arts and sculptures. It is a unique connection between nature and culture, coincidence and innovation, which create the special forms and expressions in his art. We follow his work and the many philosophical thoughts behind the works - thoughts that provides the possibility for us to see different dimensions in the concept of art.
