A Roadmovie in the Footprints of H.C. Andersen

The idea behind the film project “The Land I Saw” is based on the book written by Art Historian and Writer Hans Edvard Nørregård Nielsen. As in the book we watch how H.C. Andersen travelled through Italy. This is the fantastic picture of Nørregård Nielsen’s journey and not least Andersen’s 150 sketches and letters. This makes it possible for us to watch Andersen closely and follow a unique piece of our history of civilization.
